Schedule
This is the schedule for club gatherings where we will open up all of the club tables
The RSF also has two tables available during
RSF Open Rec Table Tennis Hours
so feel free to come in outside of club hours to use these tables
Open Play
Announced on Slack (see google calendar)
Whether you are interested in casual play or competitive matches, open play is great for players of all skill levels. Bring your own paddle or borrow one of our loaner paddles. During the school year we usually have 5-8 tables set up.
Novice Training
Announced on slack as coaches have time. Will be posted to sign-up page.
Created for new players to practice and learn basic table tennis skills and techniques. The coach will develop your forehand and backhand basics as well as some basic serves. We offer multi-ball training so that we spend more time training and less time picking up balls.

Designed for experienced players who are consistent with general skills. To attend advanced training, please contact the coach before signing up for that session via slack. This type of session is intended for players intending to play on the competitive team or recreational players that are comfortable playing at high speed. Players from the competitive team may be there to help train and practice with.

Tournaments
Announced on Slack (see google calendar)
If you are interested in playing more serious matches, we organize tournaments and assign faux-ratings to gauge your skill level. We primarily host round-robins to give new players a change to meet a lot of people and make it the most fun. Our competitive team is the official UC Berkeley Table Tennis Team that participates in NCTTA tournaments: If you would like to participate, we have tryouts in the fall. For more information, contact us directly or look out for an announcement on social platforms.
